Our Story

Connecting 2 Impact began in 2020 as a solution to the challenges faced by new school leaders in executing effective instructional leadership practices during a global pandemic. 

The difficulties of capacity, confidence, and resources were exacerbated, and we stepped in to provide the necessary support. From our inception, we have focused on delivering cutting-edge instructional management systems and sustainable school improvement strategies.

We believe, and the data supports this, that strong instructional leaders are just second to classroom teachers in leveraging educational success of students. Our tailored instructional leadership services provide the tools new educators and mentors need to thrive.​

Meet

Majida Abdul-Karim,

CEO & FOUNDER

Majida has dedicated over 30 years to the field of education, with 22 years in educational leadership. Her extensive career includes roles as a teacher, instructional coordinator, new teacher mentor, leadership coach, assistant principal, principal, school quality reviewer both nationally and internationally, school board member, and executive director of an educational nonprofit.​

Majida was also in the inaugural cohort of NYC's Leadership Academy Aspiring Principal Program (APP), Majida has served as a principal at both the middle and high school levels. She has also made a global impact as a transformational school leader in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. She is an international speaker, facilitator, and moderator/emcee, sharing podiums and platforms with some of the world's most renowned political, interfaith, equity advocates, and educational leaders.​

Under Majida's leadership, her school was consistently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as a top-performing institution in NYC. She has also earned numerous accolades, and she now leverages her experience to help new school leaders enhance their instructional capabilities, drive school transformation, improve teacher retention and accelerate student aptitudes.
